Brian Lahti, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and the founder of Talk Indy, a private practice in Fishers and Carmel, Indiana. I started Talk Indy with the guiding belief: your voice matters.

My path to becoming a therapist has always been centered on creating spaces where people feel supported and understood. Early in my career, I worked in school environments, as a caseworker, and supporting children and families through some of their most difficult challenges. I later served as a therapist with an organization contracting with the Department of Child Services, where I walked alongside families navigating complex systems, trauma, and transitions. These experiences deepened my passion for helping children, parents, and individuals not only cope with challenges, but also build skills that lead to stronger, healthier connections.

At Talk Indy, I specialize in working with children, teens, adults, and families who are managing emotional and relationship trauma, ADHD, anxiety, depression, relationship stress, and life transitions. I also lead therapy groups that encourage creativity, emotional growth, and practical skill-building, because I believe healing happens best when we feel seen, heard, and connected. My approach blends compassion with creativity, often using engaging activities and tailored strategies to make therapy meaningful both in and outside of sessions.

I’ve always carried the heart of a servant in my work, and I continually strive to create a space for healing and growth. My goal is to empower clients while knowing they don’t have to navigate life’s challenges alone.

Outside the office, I’m a husband to my wife, Abby, and a dog dad to our golden retriever, Max. I enjoy exploring Indy’s food scene, supporting local businesses, and finding creative ways to blend play, connection, and healing in my work and daily life.

Cassie Trapp, MSW, LCSW

Hi. My name is Cassie. If you are reading this right now, know that you are welcome here, and I am so glad you are taking the courageous step of reaching out for help today. It has been my life’s joy and work to walk alongside people of all ages who, for whatever reason, have found themselves in the trenches. In my career as a counselor, I have seen children heal from trauma, teenagers gain confidence through challenges, adults who feel hopeless find new meaning and purpose in their lives, hospice patients come to a place of peace as they approach the end of life, and everything else in between. No matter what you may be facing, it is my belief and experience that each of us has more capacity for hope, healing, and lasting change than we may yet realize.

I use a variety of trauma-informed and person-centered approaches that are completely tailored to you, your needs, and your goals. I long to facilitate healing from the past, help equip you to make positive changes for the present, and also to nurture a true, enduring hope for the future. I know that it is a sacred and vulnerable thing to be invited into the griefs, pains, traumas, and doubts of another. I will do whatever I can to make you feel comfortable, seen, and safe in our work together.

In my spare time, you will see me doing anything outside with my four kiddos or sending my wonderful children away so I can go on a date with my husband! I also love long walks with friends, reading books, watching Marvel movies, and traveling to new places.
