About Talk Indy

Built on the values of kindness, service, and dignity and worth of each person.

Hi, my name is Brian and I'm a licensed clinical social worker.

As a kid I had many individuals and community members make a lasting impression on me. I want to continue to carry the torch from those who made a positive influence on me at a young age through my practice. I chose this field to be a lifelong learner and make a valuable impact in our community.

I received my education at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis from the Master’s School of Social Work specializing in mental health and addiction.

Meet Lynn, a clinical social worker specializing in anxiety disorders, OCD, & perinatal mood/anxiety disorders.

With a background in acting and teaching, Lynn offers a unique perspective to therapy. She believes everyone can benefit from therapy, regardless of their life stage. Lynn is currently training for ERP and has completed advanced psychotherapy courses. She’s a Cubs fan, loves musical theatre, and enjoys traveling with her family. Take the first step and reach out to Lynn today.

Our mission is to fight against the silence and shame of mental health and by helping others to discover and strengthen their inner voice by seeking a licensed professional to support them.

Before your first session, it’s critical towards being open-minded and honest for your therapist to help you improve your mental health and overall well-being.

Set realistic goals and expectations about your journey. The steps you are taking towards healing and improving your mental health take time. Your therapist is there to support you along your journey, understand you, and help you achieve growth and instill hope. Allow yourself time before and after sessions to prepare for stress such as traffic, finding the office, or planning other activities around your schedule.

Lastly, be proud of yourself for seeking help. Mental health has long been a stigma, but no matter where you are we want you to know we are celebrating with you. You are exercising the mind today and by talking about your mental health you are helping fight against the stigma!
