Does your child or teen...

  • Struggle with fitting in or feeling like they don’t belong?
  • Put others’ needs before their own, feeling emotionally drained and unseen?
  • Feel overwhelmed by anxiety, self-doubt, or fear of disappointing others?
  • Love crafts, creativity, or hands-on activities but struggle to connect socially?
  • Have a history of trauma or difficult experiences that make relationships challenging?
  • Feel exhausted from trying to be “the good kid” or the one who keeps the peace?

If any of these sound familiar, your child or teen may be struggling with people-pleasing tendencies, emotional exhaustion, and difficulty setting boundaries, all of which can impact their mental well-being, relationships, and self-esteem.

What do groups offer?

I provide a welcoming and creative space where kids and teens can:

  • Build authentic connections with others who understand them
  • Express themselves through crafts and creative activities
  • Learn to set boundaries and advocate for their own needs
  • Develop coping skills for stress, anxiety, and emotional overwhelm
  • Heal from past experiences and learn to trust themselves
  • Feel seen, heard, and valued—just as they are

Why Group Therapy?

Many kids and teens feel alone in their struggles with putting everyone else’s needs before their own, often believing they must earn love rather than simply being valued for who they are.

These patterns frequently develop after experiencing trauma, neglect, or being cast in the role of “the helper” in their families.

Our group therapy sessions provide a supportive environment where participants can break these harmful cycles and develop genuine confidence, self-compassion, and emotional balance.

Who Are These Groups For?

Kids (8-11 years old)

Who love crafts, struggle with self-expression, and need a space to build confidence.

Teens (12-15 years old)

Who want to connect with others while learning to balance caring for themselves and others.

Parents & Caregivers

Who want to better understand their child’s challenges and develop tools to support them.

Here's what you can expect.

Participants engage in hands-on activities like crafts, journaling, and vision boards to explore their feelings and goals in a tangible way.

Groups facilitate engaging discussions about setting healthy boundaries, building authentic friendships, and practicing effective self-care strategies.

Small group settings create a supportive environment where participants can form genuine connections and feel understood by peers facing similar challenges.

Teens learn practical, evidence-based tools to effectively navigate complex relationships, manage difficult emotions, and build lasting self-worth.

I specialize in working with children, teens, and families navigating people-pleasing, trauma, and self-worth struggles. Each session is designed to empower kids and teens to embrace who they are without guilt, fear, or pressure to always please others.
